DNA-Encoded Library (DEL) is a powerful technology used in pharmaceutical research to assist in the discovery of new drugs. The technique involves synthesizing large collections of small molecule compounds, each attached to a unique piece of DNA, which serves as a "bar code" for the molecule. This allows for the rapid and high-throughput screening and identification of compounds that bind to a target protein by using DNA sequencing techniques to read the barcode associated with the compound [1].
