Cell Line Development Service

Cell-based assays are highly specialized in vitro methods for assessing the functional and biochemical effects of drugs. Our company provides customers with specialist cell line generation services that enable in-depth investigations of cellular systems under physiological and experimental conditions without the use of laboratory animals. Let us create the ideal cell line for your unique research requirements.

Service Overview

Cell Line Development Service

A crucial first stage in the production of recombinant proteins, biologics, or monoclonal antibodies is cell line creation (mAbs). Our company has decades of experience producing primary cells, altered cell lines, and stem cells. We also provide organoid creation, T cell multiplication, and peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) isolation. Cell lines can be developed based on species, tissue, sex and age. For your preclinical studies, we also provide downstream in vitro and in vivo assay services.

Our custom cell line development services include the following options.

  • Isolation of transformed cells from tumors.
  • Isolation and amplification of PBMCs.
  • Isolation and amplification of T cells.
  • Cell lineage expansion and maintenance.
  • Generation of organoids.
  • Cell isolation from multiple species, tissues, ages, and sexes.
  • Stem cell isolation from bone marrow, adipose tissue, umbilical cord or placental tissue.
  • Isolation of primary cells from tissues such as the brain, liver, kidney, muscle, and heart.

Research Capabilities

Our company has extensive experience in developing and characterizing or validating cell-based assays using primary cells, immortalized cell lines, transfected cell lines, and live cells (whole blood or isolated peripheral blood mononuclear cells). Neutralizing antibody (NAb) assays, mechanism of action (MOA) studies, relative potency assays, and receptor binding assays are frequently supported by cell-based assays.

Our scientific staff has years of experience with cell-based assays including receptor occupancy, cell proliferation, apoptosis, cell necrosis, exosomes, signal transduction, enzyme activity, antibody-dependent cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), surface phenotypes, intracellular cytokine staining and in vitro stimulation, among others. Our platforms include Flow Cytometry, Nexcelom Cell Counter, ChemiDoc Imager, MSD, ELISA, Luminex, and SMCxPRO to support cell-based assays.
