Our company offers cell-based neutralizing antibody (NAb) assays for our customers' drug development through a cutting-edge cell culture facility. Our NAb assay makes use of a cell-based approach to ascertain whether known neutralizing antibodies activate surface receptors and block them.
Many techniques can be used to identify pharmacological activity, including the use of fluorescent reporter genes, enzyme activity tests, and the incorporation of ligand binding assays. At Our company, ligand binding tests (such as ELISA and MSD) and enzyme activity assays are also frequently carried out.
Service Overview

As cell-based assays have the potential to examine numerous functional domains in a protein therapeutic agent through a single assay, they are the method of choice for creating neutralizing antibody tests. A sophisticated cell-based assay would be able to detect a reduction in overall drug activity and thus determine whether anti-drug antibodies (ADAs) are neutralizing the drug.
Our company has a wealth of experience in designing, verifying, and carrying out ligand binding and enzyme activity cell-based NAb experiments. Drug-resistant antibodies and protein therapies from the subject are added to grown cells to conduct a cell-based NAb assay. An assay should measure the overall activity of the medicine while also covering all functional domains. If patient antibodies are added and drug activity declines, these antibodies will neutralize the medicine.
Research Capabilities
Our company is equipped with the knowledge required to design, verify, and carry out cell-based NAb assays for biological products. Our experts assess each therapeutic strategy, build specific assays, and make sure each assay is optimized to accurately detect NAb and achieve the highest level of medication tolerance. The development and optimization of assays is carried out by selecting appropriate cell lines, assay formats, and positive control NAb with care. Assay parameters are also optimized, samples are diluted or pretreated as necessary, and meticulous statistical analysis and data processing are carried out.
A wide variety of assay formats can be implemented, including but not limited to cell proliferation, viability, antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), cytoopathic effect inhibition (CPE), apoptosis, ligand-stimulated cell signaling, enzyme activity, reporter gene assays, protein secretion, metabolic activity, stress, and mitochondrial function.

Our cell culture team has cultured primary cells as well as immortalized cell lines for imaging and flow cytometry. We know how to build and manage a cell bank to ensure that the right number of cells are optimized for cell-based approaches. Also, we have a wide range of tools at our disposal to help us choose the output for your test that is most appropriate, whether it is through imaging, flow cytometry, cAMP readouts, etc.
